My Grandfather was my favorite person on the planet until he passed in 2022. He had a wicked memory, read every day, and until the last few years of his life walked in the local park for 4 miles every morning for over 30 years.
The National Institute on Aging and the CDC both discuss how physical activity is vital to a healthy old age. My Grandpa lived till 92. I would like to make it to 100, my 8 year old daughter said I have to make it to 200.
His routine involved the walk, and 5 pound weights doing bend overs touching his toes. That was it.
I’m no exercise expert, but I do style myself as an expert in discipline. If your goal is weight loss, or overall health and wellness. I feel like small manageable steps are the most likely to be accomplished.
I’m currently 38. I should probably utilize a more robust exercise routine, but I think I need to set a simple, and mainly achievable goal that can be repeated daily regardless of plans or location.
