I’m working on building this website to track my progress, and maybe help someone else down the road. I spent half this holiday morning moving pages, linking X accounts, building a “brand” because that’s whats needed these days. Engagement, posts, cross-posts.
Then it hit me, Rome wasn’t built in a day. I don’t have 1 let alone 1 million people trying to navigate this site and finding dead links, or missing socials. One day at a time to build the site, build the shares, build the snow-ball. Piece by piece is fine as long as you keep going. It’s the stopping that ruins momentum.
I’ll cover this more in pieces as I write, but part of my attempts to build passive income involve niche youtube accounts, questionable small form media styles, tiktok, reels, shorts, etc. With the assistance of AI. Those might never work out, but that world is all about branding, and content. The thing is I have a full time job, and kids. I can’t lose an entire holiday trying to get a website “perfect”. I have to do a little here, a little there. And most importantly, post this and then go play board games with my son.
