I’m wiped out. My garage door is still being a pesky bugger with the weather stripping, though I think I’ve solved most of the gap issues. Next up we have Mother’s Day and a wonderful plan to have Grandparents over for dinner and presents. Then, we have four of my cousins visiting town for a few days, one of those days we will host.
In the middle of those events, I have a shed delivery and my wife found an amazing swing set with a zip line for free on Facebook. The issue is it’s massive, needs taken apart, hauled to our house, and then reassembled.
Today is Wednesday, that gives 3 days for house cleaning before Sunday. As Saturday is devoted to emptying the old shed, sliding its cheap aluminum self across the yard to the tree line, putting everything back inside of it for rain purposes, then cleaning the site for the new shed. Then I need to clean out my trailer and pick up a yard of gravel for the floor of the new shed, and buy insulation, paint, and add the slat wall for storage.
Also I just had to put $1,100 into my wife’s car with tires, a surprise rodent nest, and an oil change.
Whew, some weeks the struggle is real. I hope to catch up on the Financial Education series tomorrow and knock out Frugal Friday and the weekend.
