This past week, my son was doing a bunch of chores and asked about going out to get some fast food for dinner. He’d been working hard and had his own gift card for Taco Bell. I had decided to eat leftovers to be frugal and save some money.
As it turned out when we were checking the app, for discounts or deals I realized that I had several thousand points at McDonald’s that I hadn’t used. Some were going to expire soon so I ended up getting free food instead of leftovers.
Now, earning those points in the first place was the opposite of frugal, but using them while I’m focusing on my debt pile is definitely a combo I can get behind.
Drop in the comments something frugal you did this week.
