This week I had so many meetings that I don’t even know where the week went. I got some more work done organizing my shed, and was able to get some of the things I wanted to do accomplished by using scraps and offcuts from my garage.

I did want to bring something else up: the SpaceX Initial Public Offering (IPO) went live today. If you didn’t know, it is the largest IPO ever. Now, since Tesla went public, it’s had a 3400% return. I don’t think SpaceX is going to do the same anytime soon, but their reusable rockets are one of the coolest things ever. Have you ever seen the rockets land instead of crash?

Anyway, I used to work with a guy that bought Tesla with every single paycheck, he loved Tesla so much. This was a normal NCO in the Air Force. At one point, before he sold some to buy a house and a new car he had over $1 Million in Tesla stock — that was before the most recent split.

I will never advocate going all in on any one business, but I really like SpaceX and have wanted to buy into it for years. Today I requested 10 shares before the launch and got allocated 1. Which is pretty awesome because it’s a lottery system and I could have gotten zero.

I’m still planning on buying the other 9, but inside my IRA once markets open at 9:30 am today. Have an awesome weekend!
