It’s that time of year, where the post winter body gets all itchy, and the desire to de-clutter hits. Parts of my house are just an absolute mess between pet shedding season, kids out growing clothes, and things that are still in boxes from moving…almost two years ago.
Sometimes it’s probably being lazy, others who knows what, but I’m feeling the urge to sort and organize and get things done.
Part of my delay has been my debt pay down. There are many things I don’t want to purge but organizing requires me to purchase things that aren’t high on the priority list. For example, I have a bunch of tools passed down from multiple family members. I want to split these into three nice toolboxes for each of my kids to have their own set of tools. Currently I think paying down high interest debt is more important than buying toolboxes so the tools are half sorted and stacked in cardboard boxes.
I guess I have my work cut out for me today. Enjoy!
