Wow, it’s been a crazy month. Spending has not been this bad in ages. A combination of the Fair, my wife’s trip to her home town, plus her surgery, and a handful of times eating out because we knew she won’t be leaving the house for over a month. Oh, and of course a bunch of frivolous spending we didn’t need to do: an Ocarina of Time Switch 2 pre-order, a WoW: Forever pre-order, an electric Ocarina from Nintendo, the Legion GO was still on the CC letting the cash grow interest in savings, and Hyundai’s criminal annual subscription if half of my wife’s car features want to continue working for the next year. I also just remembered we also had the hotel for a dear friend’s wedding in November on the card, too.
I also find it really interesting that Robinhood says I’m up $249 YTD, but the balance is $300 lower than the End of August Article, which only had me up $120. That seems like a mystery for another day.

This, as usual, doesn’t include the money added to my wife’s IRA at Robinhood. That was $2,200 over the month, putting her account at $4,000/$7,500. Which also has $120 in IRA matching, which has now covered the cost of both accounts’ gold subscriptions plus more!
This month I was only able to add $100 in credit card rewards and $100 in cash-out from Freecash, but Swagbucks will pay out $100 on October 1st. We had $485 in covered call premiums and $749 in dividends. Obviously some of the $1,200 removed had to come from the last week of August premiums and other August money I didn’t withdraw then.

Overall, I don’t think I can complain too much. The new game plan bought 2 shares of QQQI, 3 shares of SPYI, 1 ARR, 1 AGNC, 0.07 shares of O, 0.187 shares of MAIN, and just shy of 3 shares of BLOX. Slow and Steady, while we focus on debt payoffs.
