Last week I posted on a Frugal Living Facebook Group:
What’s one frugal thing you did this past week?
Then I proceeded to not be able to think of anything I intentionally did to be frugal last week. I think this is something that can bring value and mental fortitude to the week. So I want to make this a series. Sometimes I might cover meal prep or our Super Low Grocery Budget, but other times it might be something very simple. Ordering water at a restaurant. Carpooling to a movie, or kid sporting event.

This week, I had to shop around for bulk crossword puzzle books for a “mandatory donation” that my son had to supply for a class project donating to Nursing Homes. Meijer only had some in the checkout for $9.99 each. Family Dollar was priced $1.50 each, but I needed to buy 20 of them. Amazon, as usual, seemed to be the place to check. Wouldn’t you know they had a 10 book Large Print set for $11.61. $1.16 each. Crossword Puzzles (Amazon Affiliate Link)
So that was my frugal hunt this week. What was yours?
